Contact your spouse sometime during the business of the day. Have no agenda other than asking how he or she is doing and if there is anything you could do for them. This is easy enough. One thing about being thoughtful is to take the time to think about them and what they like and need. When we were dating they were pretty much all we thought about in a good way. With the addiction we kind of think about them, but about their weaknesses. So today I'm going to focus on the positive things about my husband and how I can get to know him better. He thinks differently than I do so I will embrace it today and not cringe at it. Today will be a great day.
This is my journey through my “refiner’s fire” in dealing with my husband’s pornography addiction. I hope it can be a support for other women to know you are not alone.
